Dust test: IP5X is dust-protected (dust cannot be fully prevented from entering, but the amount entering does not affect operation); IP6X is dust-tight (no dust can enter). Industrial environments (cement plants, flour mills, foundries) are very dusty and require IP6X. The entire LIDER LD series is IP6X, with sealed designs for the buttons, battery compartment and charging port.
