Detailed Answer
IP67 and IP68 are both dust-tight; the difference is water protection: IP67 can be immersed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes (temporary immersion), while IP68 allows continuous immersion (depth/time specified by the manufacturer, e.g., 3m/24h). For high-humidity environments like ports, shipyards and underwater work, choose IP68 (XINGJIA Xingdun series); for general outdoor use, IP67 (standard on the LIDER LD series) is sufficient. IP68 costs more — don't pay for scenarios you won't use.
| IP67 | 1m / 30min |
| IP68 | Continuous immersion |
| Scenarios | Choose IP68 for ports/shipyards |
Note:IP67 is enough for general industrial scenarios; choose IP68 as needed.
