Ingress Protection & Safety

IP Ingress Protection

The ingress protection rating defined by the IEC 60529 standard, composed of two digits. The first digit indicates the dust-protection level (0-6), and the second digit indicates the water-protection level (0-9K). IP67 means dust-tight plus temporary immersion of 1 m / 30 min. The full LDER series reaches IP67, and the XINGJIA Xinghai T series reaches IP68.

Emergency Stop Button (E-Stop)

The large red mushroom-head self-locking button on an industrial remote control used for emergency stopping. Once pressed, it immediately cuts off all movement outputs with a response time of <100ms, complying with the EN 13849-1 functional safety standard.

EN 13849-1

The European machinery safety standard — design principles and evaluation methods for safety-related control systems. It defines the PL (Performance Level) safety levels, from PL a to PL e, a total of 5 levels.

UL94 V-0

A flame-retardant rating for plastic materials under the US UL standard. After two 10-second burns, the material self-extinguishes within 10 seconds and must not drip. Both LDER and XINGJIA enclosures use UL94 V-0 flame-retardant materials.

Communication Technology

ISM Band

The dedicated band for Industrial, Scientific and Medical use, which can be used without applying for a radio license. China's 470MHz ISM band is the main operating band for industrial remote controls.

FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum)

The available band is divided into multiple sub-channels, and the transmitter and receiver rapidly hop between sub-channels according to a preset pseudo-random sequence. It provides extremely strong resistance to co-channel interference. The full LDER and XINGJIA series support automatic frequency hopping.

DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum)

The signal is multiplied by a high-speed pseudo-random code, spreading the narrowband signal over a wide frequency band for transmission. It provides strong resistance to narrowband interference.

GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying)

An improved version of FSK that limits bandwidth through a Gaussian filter for higher spectral efficiency. Both LDER and XINGJIA products adopt this modulation method.

Rolling Code

A security technology that uses a different code for each communication, generating an incrementing sequence number based on an algorithm. It prevents signal copying and replay attacks.

Products & Control

SK Single-Speed

The LDER product series name; each button corresponds to one movement (open/close), suitable for simple start/stop control.

DK Dual-Speed

The LDER product series name; each button supports fast/slow two-speed control. Suitable for crane equipment requiring precise positioning.

Proportional Control

Stepless speed control achieved through a joystick, with speed proportional to joystick travel. Supported by the XINGZHI custom-series joystick models.

Interlock

A safety protection mechanism between forward and reverse movements. When one direction output is active, the reverse direction output is automatically locked out.

Signal-Loss Protection

An automatic safety mechanism after the remote control loses contact with the receiver. The receiver automatically performs an emergency stop if no valid signal is received within 1 second.

Certification Standards

CE Certification

The mandatory product safety certification mark in the EU. Products must comply with the LVD, EMC, RED and other directives.

FCC Certification

Certification by the US Federal Communications Commission. Radio equipment must pass FCC certification before it can be sold in the US market.

CCC Certification

China Compulsory Certification. Industrial remote controls fall within the CCC catalog and must pass certification.

ATEX Certification

EU explosion-proof directive certification. Equipment used in flammable and explosive environments must pass ATEX certification.

CNEx Certification

Chinese explosion-proof electrical product certification, based on the GB 3836 series of standards.

Industry Terms

Overhead Crane

The common name for a bridge crane. Lifting equipment installed overhead in a workshop.

Tower Crane

The common name for a tower crane. Tall lifting equipment on construction sites.

Portal Crane

The abbreviation for a gantry crane. Common lifting equipment at ports and terminals.

Electric Hoist

A type of small lifting equipment. The CD type is single-speed, and the MD type is dual-speed.

SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)

An inventory unit. Each LDER product offers 5 SKU configurations.
