An intermediate relay is an auxiliary relay used to expand contact count/capacity: the receiver output (5A) drives the intermediate relay (which can carry larger loads or multiple outputs), which then controls the contactor. Leader and Xingjia receivers can directly drive intermediate relay coils (24V/220V optional).
