An antenna extension cable routes the receiver antenna from inside the control cabinet to outside/up high, improving signal reception. Metal control cabinets heavily shield wireless signals (20-40dB attenuation), so the antenna must exit the cabinet. The Leader LD series offers 1-5m antenna extension cables (50Ω coaxial); Xingjia likewise. Extension cable specs: impedance matched, low loss (≤0.5dB/m).
