The salt spray test simulates a marine atmosphere: 5% NaCl solution at 35°C with continuous spraying (24–1000 hours), testing corrosion resistance. Equipment for ports and shipyards must pass the salt spray test (GB/T 2423.17 or ISO 9227). The LIDER LD series shipyard version passes the salt spray test; the XINGJIA Xingdun series offers high protection. In salt-spray environments, product housings and connectors need anti-corrosion plating.
