Detailed Answer
The response time of industrial remote controls (from key press to output action) is usually 20–100ms, and emergency stop response is <100ms (LIDER LD series). Response time depends on: data frame length, modulation rate, receive decoding delay and relay actuation time. The delay perceived by the operator = remote control response + contactor actuation + motor start time. Fast response is critical for jog positioning and emergency braking.
| Typical | 20~100ms |
| Emergency stop | <100ms |
| LIDER | Industry leading |
Note:If operation feels 'mushy', check the contactor and mechanical links.
