The IP rating consists of two digits: the first for dust (levels 0–6) and the second for water (levels 0–8). IP65 = fully dust-tight + protected against water jets; IP67 = fully dust-tight + protected against brief submersion (1 m depth for 30 min). IP67 adds one more level of water protection over IP65, suitable for outdoor rain and washdown scenarios. The entire LDER LD series is IP67, and XINGJIA offers IP66–IP68 options. IP65 is enough for indoor dusty environments; IP67 or above is recommended for outdoor rainy environments.
